I wish they'd break the numbers down even further. Most clerical staff make less than 50,000 pounds a year and if you put a category for them, you'd find the income disparity even more alarming. This is because 50,000 pounds a year for a family of 4 does not allow anyone to live the high life.
And had you stuck in the store clerks wage of less than 30,000 pounds, you'd see that most of these people are barely hanging onto their homes; jobs and their kids rarely make it to university.
