Με τον καθιερωμένο αγιασμό και τον όρκο στο Ευαγγέλιο -«στο όνομα της Αγίας και Ομοουσίου και Αδιαιρέτου Τριάδας»- έγινε σήμερα η τελετή ορκωμοσίας των νέων βουλευτών από τον αρχιεπίσκοπο Ιερώνυμο. Οι βουλευτές ορκίζονται στην Αγία Τριάδα επειδή η Ελλάδα είναι η μόνη χώρα της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης που δεν έχει γίνει ακόμα διαχωρισμός Κράτους-Εκκλησίας. Οι Έλληνες δεν θέλουν επιστροφή στη δραχμή. Η επιστροφή στον Μεσαίωνα δεν τους ενοχλεί.

Several singers, young and old, on May 3rd in Madrid recorded the "Song for Dimitris", written by Joaquin Carbonell to commemorate Dimitris Christoulas, the Greek pensioner who shot himself in Syntagma square in front of the Parliament.
